Love, Peace NDG T-Shirts and Bumper Stickers

 

A couple of years ago I embarked on a journey towards promoting love and peace across NDG - by creating T-Shirts and bumper stickers - and making them available through only one source - Arsak and Sahan Markaryan - at Papeterie Harvard on Sherbrooke St. 

Initially this was a success - but ultimately it was not received in anywhere near the numbers I had hoped for.  It was simply not the time.  

I am once again going to offer beautiful T-Shirts with the Love, Peace NDG image across the front.  These shirts will be my own NuVo brand - produced for me in China - of the finest quality DriFit material - which means they will be comfortable and wrinkle free!

The plan is to offer them in unisex sizes from Small through 2X, in a good number of colours.  Right now I am just sourcing the samples - to see which of 8 colours the image looks best on.  

The shirts will sell for $24.99 including taxes.  My hope is that you will like them so much that you will buy 4 colours as well as T-Shirts for gifts.  The other thing is - that NDG stands for Notre Dame de Grace - Mary - Mother of Jesus.  As such - my hope is that people from all around the world will love these shirts and choose to buy and wear them.

Bumper Stickers will be $9.99 including taxes.  They are beautiful and very easy to apply.

A Return to the Cavendish Mall of Old

This past Sunday - my love - Christy-Anne Strike and I had occasion to go to Quartier Cavendish .  My recent trips to the mall had been mostly in the daytime when there was not much activity.  On this Sunday - the mall was alive!  The entire food court - which is not the size it used to be - was full of families enjoying meals!  The walkways were filled with people and there was a distinct buzz in the air!  There was a little petting zoo in the middle court - with youngsters clamoring to pet and feed the animals - and a little train circulated the mall - filled with children and their parents. The Key to the Universe

My story is a long and amazing journey.  In January of 2004, as I lay comatose in a bed in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital for 3 days - a reel played on continuous loop in my heart and mind.  It followed my entire life - from my most junior years - to a time which at that point I had not even experienced.  God gave the name of this journey - ' Come Away With Me.  The ongoing story of the life of Ross Harvey .' A Wonderful Morning Getting Out Of Pain

For those of you who do not know the essence of my blog posts, I write about how we can find Heaven in the everyday journey of our life here on Earth.   For the last several days I have had a very sore middle right finger - being swollen and full of pus.  I think I made it worse rather than better by sterilizing a needle and trying to prick it unsuccessfully!  This morning I decided to do something about it - and headed to the Queen Elizabeth Urgent Care Clinic on Marlowe in NDG for 7:30am - in order to be one of the first in line when their doors opened at 8am.
