What if every neighbourhood in NDG had a little place where generosity could flourish?

Imagine walking along a quiet NDG street and discovering a beautiful little wooden cabinet filled with books, puzzles, children's stories and handwritten notes of encouragement.

A simple sign reads:

"Take what you need. Leave what you can. Enjoy what you find."

No membership. No fees. No paperwork.

Just neighbours sharing with neighbours.

I love the idea of creating little community-sharing libraries throughout NDG—not simply for books, but for the joy of giving and receiving.

A child might discover a wonderful story. A senior might find a novel they've always wanted to read. Someone having a difficult day might discover a handwritten message that lifts their spirits.

And perhaps, occasionally, two strangers browsing the same little library might strike up a conversation and become friends.

A Community Built on Trust

What excites me most about this idea isn't the collection of books or little treasures.

It's what these sharing spaces represent.

Trust. Generosity. Abundance. And the beautiful understanding that we don't have to own everything to enjoy something.

That's an important part of my vision for A NuVo World—a community where sharing becomes as natural as shopping, and where kindness is woven into everyday life.

Imagine dozens of these little libraries appearing throughout NDG, lovingly maintained by residents, schools, churches and local businesses.

Today's A NuVo World Challenge

Find a book you've enjoyed and consider placing it in an existing neighbourhood little library.

Or speak with a few neighbours about creating one together, with permission from the property owner.

It doesn't need to be elaborate. It simply needs people who care.

Because sometimes transforming a community begins with giving something away—and discovering that everyone becomes richer in the process.

One little library. A thousand possibilities. A more generous NDG.
