I Hope this Helps!

Recently I treated myself to a 3 month membership on Audible - in order to read and re-read audiobooks of my youth.  For anyone interested - a membership is available from Audible for $0.99/mth for 3 months.

Upon using the credit I received for signing up I immediately purchased a book I had been suggested - The Golf Monster - a very interesting book about his life, faith and golf - by Alice Cooper.

I am not ready to spend upwards of $20/mth for audiobooks - and believe I can find many great books on the internet for free.  Below is the beginning of my work to find such audiobooks:

The Little Prince.  This may sound like a book for children - but it is not!  Antoine de St. Exupery created this classic book for everyone.  Read it and learn from this timeless wisdom!

The Prophet.  By Khalil Gibran.  When I was 24 years old and had returned to University, a wonderful young lady named Ghada Haddad, whose father was the then General Haddad in the Lebanese army - gave me this book.  In my ignorance - I did not read it for many years - but ultimately it has become one of my favourites!

Siddhartha.  By Herman Hesse.  This is another of my favourite books!

Short Stories by Leo Tolstoy.  Many of my favourites are contained in this selection.  During my time in Montreal's Westmount - I used to go to the library, find this book and sit in a nice cozy armchair and read for an hour or two.

The Master Key System.  By Charles Haanel.

Tao Te Ching.  By Lao Tzu.

The Bhagavad Gita.  Classic wisdom dialoge from the East.

The Dhammapada.  Short meditations by the Buddha.

Nature. Ralph Waldo Emerson — essays on the divine in nature.

The Kybalion by “The Three Initiates” — hermetic/principles text, fits spiritual-wisdom

orientation.

Sadhana: The Realisation of Life by Rabindranath Tagore — spiritual poetry collection.

The Impersonal Life by Joseph Sieber Benner — inward-turning spiritual classic.

The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn — short wisdom-manual style,

fits application.

The Soul of the Indian: An Interpretation by Charles Alexander Eastman — native-American

spiritual values.

La Vita Nuova by Dante Alighieri — spiritual-poetic love-vision narrative.

The Hundred Tales of Wisdom by Idries Shah — Sufi-wisdom stories.

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius — classic stoic wisdom.

On the Shortness of Life by Seneca — bite-sized reflection of meaning/time.

Walden by Henry David Thoreau — spiritual-nature retreat narrative.

Essays of Ralph Waldo Emerson — further from his spiritual-philosophical core.

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz — slightly newer but practical wisdom.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho — modern poetic-wisdom narrative.

Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke — intimate spiritual letters.

The Way of Peace by Lama Yeshe — contemplative guide.

The Book of Life by Jiddu Krishnamurti — wisdom reflections.

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle — modern spiritual.

As a Man Thinketh by James Allen — short classic of thought and life.

The Art of Being by Erich Fromm — psychological-spiritual classic.
