The Epitome of Heaven

It is 2am and I cannot sleep!  My thoughts are keeping me awake.  They are good thoughts - no great thoughts!   I wrote a book - Forever Christy - as a declaration of my love for my wife - I also wrote a song in her honour.

I have considered myself as a resident of Heaven for many years - taking to heart Christ's words - who said; 'my Kingdom is not of this world.'

Since Dec 25, 2003, I have been on an upward, continuous and never-ending spiral through the infinite levels of Heaven on Earth.  And virtually every day it gets better and more exciting!

I'd like to share two key points in my life:

  1. My commitment to God.  This is all-encompassing.  EverythingI do I do for Him.  I know God as a man named Noel - who came to me in 2004 as a man - and actually revealed to me that He was God.  Since that point I have never questioned anything - knowing that God is with me in spirit as well as physically.
  2. My commitment to Christy.  We met on November 26, 2024 and immediately knew that we were meant to be together.  Christy completes me in every sense.  We are both relatively hard-headed, strong-willed people - but over time we have come to see that there is no problem or issue that our love can't bridge.  

My reason for writing this post is to tell you - each and every person who reads this - that if you are looking for Heaven on Earth - it is achievable.  Take my life as an example.  Let God into your life.  It is as simple as opening up your heart and asking Him to come in.  Your ascent will begin!  Pay attention and you will see your life changing for the better in every way - your friends and relationships, your professional/job life, your finances - everything!

Whatever you want out of life is attainable - and begins with your next decision.  Let God in!  Invite Him into your life and I promise you this Presence will change your entire world!  I'd love to hear what happens with your life as a result!  rossG3@gmail.com.

Neighbours Doing Good (NDG)

For those who read my column regularly - you know it is about finding Heaven right here on Earth.  My NDG Project is all about this!  It is about transforming our community - and all other communities across the world - into a collective of wonderful communities - where everyone can flourish. A couple of things I have done for NDG Project in the last few days include creating a music video for the Theme Song of NDG Project - Neighbours Doing Good (NDG) - an adaptation of John Jordan of NDG's song.  You can download the song from Apple Music .  I have also started a GoFundMe for The Depot in NDG - for a program they have called Resto Depot - which is much needed by the community. My vision for Resto Depot includes opening up the service to at least 6 and hopefully all 7 days of the week - with meals available between 10am and 3pm most days.  In addition - my goal is to have live music every day - between 12:30 and 2:30pm - performed by local artists who give o...

A Return to the Cavendish Mall of Old

This past Sunday - my love - Christy-Anne Strike and I had occasion to go to Quartier Cavendish .  My recent trips to the mall had been mostly in the daytime when there was not much activity.  On this Sunday - the mall was alive!  The entire food court - which is not the size it used to be - was full of families enjoying meals!  The walkways were filled with people and there was a distinct buzz in the air!  There was a little petting zoo in the middle court - with youngsters clamoring to pet and feed the animals - and a little train circulated the mall - filled with children and their parents. We were there to see Wicked - and the sole detraction from the entire experience was that there was a group of 4 younger children - unsupervised - who likely didn't even have tickets for the show and made incessant noise throughout the show - despite our request for them to either keep quiet or move (the theatre was near-empty).
