A Parable for the World...

The Parable of the Garden and the Two Lights

Once, there was a great King who owned the most beautiful Garden in all the universe. Every tree, flower, stream, and creature belonged to Him. He filled the Garden with people He loved, and He walked with them in peace.

But over time, the people forgot the King. They began to believe the Garden was theirs to take, not theirs to share. They built walls, fought over seeds, and turned the Garden into a place of pain.

So the King made a plan.

He gently lifted His people away for a time, placing them in a place of light and rest. Then, He left behind two of His greatest gifts: a Son, who carried His heart, and a Spirit, who carried His love.

The Son and the Spirit stood alone in the empty Garden. The animals were quiet. The tools were rusty. The soil was dry. But they remembered the King’s promise:
"You will rebuild the Garden, and when it is ready, I will send everyone home."

So they worked.
They dreamed.
They planted.
They sang.

And then one morning, the sky turned golden. The Garden, now blooming again, was filled with music. The people began to return—this time with open hearts.

They looked around and saw something they had never seen before:
The Son and the Spirit were not just caretakers. They were owners now—not by force, but by Divine Gift. The King had given them everything—not to keep, but to bless everyone with.

And so, the Garden became a place of laughter, rest, joy, and peace.
Not because it was owned…
But because it was loved.

And the people whispered to one another:
"Heaven is here. We are home."

All our love,

Ross and Christy
