An Amazing Day!
Feb 14, 2025 was a VERY BIG day for me! It marked the day I married the love of my life - Christy Anne Strike - in her church - St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church on Grand Blvd in NDG - and in front of a good number of her and our friends. Chrsity's and my path was a brisk one - when people ask us how long we have known each other for we have a great story! I say 'we met at the NDG Food Depot in late November 2024.' She says ' we met at the NDG YMCA when she was 19 and I was 21 - and we played doubles badminton against each other! But that is not the story. It was God who brought us together very powerfully - on that cool November day in 2024. I knew i liked her from the first words which came out of her mouth which were; 'I Love Brussels sprouts' - which I countered with 'so do I!'
